


In this role as an Electrician, you will be responsible for testing and rewiring portable cabins and associated electrical items before they are dispatched to our valued client. The ideal candidate will hold the relevant trade qualifications and possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload, and the composure to work effectively under pressure. A positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service are essential
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct electrical testing (portable cabins and electrical equipment / items).
· Perform site visits as necessary to carry out repairs.
· Carry out PAT testing of appliances.
· Rewire cabins before the yare sent to customer sites.
· Assist in the general duties within the yard or and site as instructed.
· Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment, in line with health, safety and environmental standards.
Health & Safety: Ensuring all work is completed to quality standards, ISO requirements and H&S regulations.
Record Keeping: Ensuring all work done and parts are recorded, e.g. repair & jobs sheets, check lists. Checking in and out units. Reporting any faults to the Site Operations Manager.
Call Outs: Attending breakdowns where necessary and performing on site repairs and work on customer sites, being well presented, friendly & professional, going above and beyond where appropriate to ensure all external parties are impressed by our customer service, building Kensite’s reputation in the industry.
IMS Compliance: Ensure all activities are completed according to IMS core processes and procedures. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the integrated management system.

Success Criteria
· An 18th Edition electrical qualification.
· Experience in the portable accommodation industry is preferred but not essential.
· A CSCS card or equivalent is desirable.
· Clean Driving Licence.
· Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment.
· Adherence to current Health & Safety legislation is required.
· Committed to providing Quality first-class customer service.
